Bob Corritore found a nice video of Dinah Washington singing an old Bessie Smith tune. This is some classic blues updated to the 1950s:-)
Another reason for posting a Dinah Washington video is that the graveyard that she is buried has been involved in the news. They owners of the graveyard was digging up corpses, dumping them in another part of the cemetery, and then selling the old plots. That is pretty despicable, and many people probably feel about the owners of cemetery like Dinah Washington felt about her cheating man in the song.
As Bob pointed out in his post no word has come out if Dinah's grave was distrubed. Also burried at Burr Oak cemetary were bluesmen Otis Spann, and Willie Dixon. Plus civil rights martyer Emmett Till.
