Document Records Update

Here is some great blues releases from Document Records

Here we have for you a News Letter just to tide you over for those early summer months while you stoke up the barbecue, check your wine cellars and stock up the fridge with drinks of your choice. Salad days are here.
Alternately, for Docky fans in the “down under” region of the globe, a News Letter for you with some goodies for the cooler months of the year with things to listen to while warming yourselves against the elements.

For the Docky gang, here at Creek Road, U.K., it is a resourceful and nifty way of bridging a gap in new productions because of human error, often referred to as incompetence, at the hands of our CD manufacturer. At the same time, one of our Directors, Gillian, has been seriously ill for the last three months at the hands of one of the most August institutions practising in the art of incompetence, namely the U.K. medical profession. Not every one of them but they know who they are.

We’re happy to say that Gillian is now well on the way to recovery and is working her way rapidly up towards being “fighting fit”. Watch out!

So, everybody wins. Have a good rummage around and see if there is anything that takes your fancy in the News Letter while we get back up to speed which includes our continuing work on a fantastic production and release schedule which has something for everybody.

Cheers.

This month we have 60 CDs on offer at £5.99 and £2.99!

In addition to the CDs that are on offer we have also just brought some great titles back into stock.

The sultry Queen of stride Piano is featured here with the finest houseband that Decca could muster including guitar genius Perry Botkin and a young Gene Krupa on drums.
Both takes of this amazing session are featured, both different and both equally full of chic swing.
Bonus Brunswick/Decca House band take with Ella Logan on vocals just for good measure.
