Louis Armstrong: The Saints

This classic song from New Orleans was one of Jimmy Pryor's favorite songs to sing. It was always fun to play this song with him, because he would always try to sneak it in on us. Of course Jimmy's version was more blues then the Great Satchmo, but hey, its a great song no matter how you play it:-)

Louie was something else wasn't he? We took a tour of his home in Queens a few months ago.The history in that house was unbelievable,it was so interesting.Did you know that his bathroom was the only ornate room in the house, everything was done in gold,it almost blinded you when you walked in L0L! If you are ever in the city do check it out,the history is amazing !
