I wish there was a video of Sam Cooke performing this song, because it has had a lot of great meaning in regards to not only the Civil Rights movement, but also to today. There are a lot of tribute type videos, and a ton of artists have covered the song, but no live footage of the great Sam Cooke. So this is a listen to video. It just has a great picture of Sam, and his amazing song.
The late Luther Vandross, was a great soul singer, and here he covers Sam Cooke's great civil rights anthem, A Change Is Going To Come. Luther was amazing it is sad that he left us way to young.
