By bringing together three generations of the finest musicians in Blues today, Blues On The North Shore continues its concerts aimed at celebrating Black Music Month.

It is this sound that has given Chicago an international reputation as: The "Home of the Blues".

On a special and personal note... we'd like to wish Honeyboy a heart felt "Happy Birthday" as he turns 95 on this date.

The BOTNS 2010 Hero Award was awarded to North Light Theatre by Blues On The North Shore President and Founder, Lynn Orman, in recognition for their commitment to keeping the blues alive through storytelling and music onstage.

For those of you who missed their Joseph Jefferson Award-winning production of "Ain't Nothin' But the Blues" starring Mississippi Charles Bevel, be sure to see their current production of "Low Down Dirty Blues."
