Mud's mother, Mildred McGhee was right at the epicenter of Chicago Blues in the mid 1950s and forward. Mud has shared some of his mother's wonderful photos of Muddy, James Cotton, Otis Spann, Hubert Sumlin and others which you can see by clicking here. Congratulations to Mud Morganfield for all his recent success; his highly acclaimed CD release Son Of The Seventh Son on Severn Records, a cover story in Living Blues, major festival appearances at Simi Valley Cajun & Blues Festival, The Chicago Blues Festival, and other festivals and concerts all around the world, his recent concert appearance with Hugh Laurie, winning two Blues Blast Music Awards, and a soon to be announced agency signing.
