Lonnie Mack And Stevie Ray Vaughn: Oreo Cookie Blues

I posted this one awhile back, but it was deleted. However, here it is again! It features the great Lonnie Mack, and the late Stevie Ray Vaughn playing an acoustic blues song. Lonnie is still around, but seems to have gone into retirement. However, according to his website (Click HERE) he occasionally gets the flying V out and plays a gig, so check out his website and maybe you will be lucky to see a living legend!!

The Doors: Roadhouse Blues

This is an interesting clip that shows just how out of control a Doors concert could be. I think when you see Morrison you see every frontman that has followed since. Granted most of Morrison's act was just out of control drunkenness, but he certainly made an impact. Legend has it that during the recording of Roadhouse Blues, Lonnie Mack was hired to play guitar. Mack was a guitar legend who played blues and rockabilly. Morrison showed up late and drunk for the recording session. Apparently he made Lonnie Mack so mad that Mack decked Morrison and knocked him out! Amazinly enough they went on to record one of the Doors best songs.
