Artisit Of The Week Hawkeye Herman

Iowa bluesman extraordinaire, Hawkeye Herman is this weeks artist of the week. Hawkeye is a member of the Iowa Blues Hall Of Fame and along with Catfish Keith, and Greg Brown is probably one of Iowas most recognized blues/singer songwriters. Currently living on the westcoast, Hawkeye occasionally makes his way back to Iowa. To catch his videos check out the Google video box located on the left side of the blog.

Photos From the Iowa Blues Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony

I took a few photos during the Iowa Blues Hall Of Fame induction Ceremony. You should be able to view them here. I will add captions to them later on tonight. Better photos should show up in a few weeks on the Central Iowa Blues Society webpage. Cibs has the best photographers around. generally they have five or six members who take photos for the society, but last night they had Vivid Pics, Scott Allen and Jen Taylor who really rock. You should check out their webpage and look at their blues photos! They have photos of all the top contemporary blues artists performing today. Take a look and enjoy.
