Shock and awe! Do you remember pong?? I had a pong machine. Played Asteroid, and Space Invaders in the arcade, but video games have come a long, long, way! I wonder when they are going to make a blues (rockband) game:-)
The only problem I have with these games, is that it is harder to play them, then to really play the instruments! YIKES!!

The Beatles: Revolution
In honor of the release of the Beatles Rockband game I am posting some Beatles videos. This is a cool clip of the Beatles playing John's call for NON VIOLENT revolution. It is also cool because it is subtitled in Spanish for all of my readers in Central and South America.
I must admit that I don't plan on buying the game, but the animations of the band are amazing! I watched a guy play George's Here Comes The Sun. The animation had the Beatles from 1969 playing in a golden field with all sorts of colorful birds and butterflies flying around. It looked great.

Beatles: Sgt Pepper
Last year I posted this video in tribute to the 40th anniversary of Sgt Pepper. Unfortunately the video disappeared, but I found it again:-) I love the idea that music can cure the ills of the world. In this video from the movie Yellow Submarine the Beatles take on the blue meanies! Pretty cool and psychedelic!!!
