Once again it is snowing like crazy! We are expecting up to an 1/2 foot of snow tonight, plus the temperature has hovered around 0 Fahrenheit. So once again I dug through my photo archive to find a nice summer picture. This is a photo of downtown Strom Lake in the middle of the summer. I must admit that summer is pretty good around here. So a few more months of cold and snow and hopefully it will warm up and all will be good again:-)

Photo Of The Week: The Frozen Tundra Of Iowa
It seems all over the Midwest and East coast of the US there is snow everywhere. I would think perfect timing for a white Christmas. I don't think things are going to get any warmer anytime soon around here at least so I think the snow will still be on the ground through Christmas. I am not a fan of the white stuff myself, but I find that I can tolerate it a lot better than when I was younger. I would get cabin fever in the winter, but now I just wait it out. Spring will come eventually!
