• RIP Historic Motown Composer Norman Whitfield 5/12/40-9/16/08: Norman Whitfield is best known for his string of hit compositions performed by Motown Artists. Among some his most memorable songs are "Heard It Through The Grapevine", "Papa Was A Rolling Stone", "War:, "Car Wash", "Just My Imagination", "Too Busy Thinking About My Baby", "Ball Of Confusion", and many others. The one nice thing about Hollywood, is that they can reintroduce some great songs to the public. What seems like yesterday, but was years ago, a little film called My Girl, brought back the glorius Temptations recording of one of their classic Motown hits. enjoy!
