The late great Johnny Copeland, doing a really great acoustic version of Fylin High. Copeland was one of those great underrated bluesmen, that seemed to slip under the public eye. Those who followed the blues and loved the blues certainly knew about his greatness, but the general public unfortunatly never really had a chance to hear him. He died back in the mid 90s of heart problems, as always way too soon.

Stevie Ray Vaughn And Johny Copeland: Tin Pan Alley
Another great example of why Stevie was so great. Here he plays with the great Johnny Copeland. Watch how Stevie shares the stage. This is no competition. Stevie shows the respect he has for Johnny by not getting into a competition to see who was the best. Unlike some white artists who seemed more interested in smoking their heroes on stage. ( I won't say who, but if you have seen a few of these videos you will figure it out pretty quickly.

Stevie Ray Vaughn And Johnny Copeland: Little Sister
Two great guitarist that have left us too early. Stevie Ray, and Johnny Copeland. It gives me the blues just thinking about the fact that they are gone. It is a good thing that we have such a great archive of videos that keep them alive.
