Artist Of The Week: Louie Prima

This weeks artist is Louie Prima. Prima, and his band played some of hottest jump blues of the day with a New Orleans spin. Jump, Jive and Wail, Just A Gigolo, and That Old Black Magic, plus dozens of other great songs made Prima one of those great artists who easily crossed the boundaries of jazz, blues, and early Rock and Roll. As always you can find his videos on the sidebar titled artist of the week.
