Okay, I know I have posted a lot of Taylor Hicks recently, but this video was sent to me and I just got a big kick out of it. He gets a dig into the record company that just let him go. Pretty funny!

Oh yeah, Bluesman, Taylor Hicks is one cool dude. Hey I was at that show. Thanks for the memories. How about that lead guitarist? His name is Josh Smith and he has a great blues CD out. Check him out at MySpace or CDBaby. By the end of the summer tour Josh and Taylor had some jams with guitar and harp like you wouldn't believe. I'll see if I can find a video at and send you the link. It may not fit this blog, but it will be fun to watch.
Check out this video of Taylor and Josh dueling with guitar and harp. Not blues, but fun to watch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TDWejGC1X8&feature=related
That is absolutely the best "poke" at the record company ever laid out there! I love all the journey's Taylor takes with his music -- we totally convinced that Taylor is sending messages with his "tags" no matter what they are.
"Big boss man" is another case of him sending a message.
ok...I'm totally girly here, but the way his hair is on this is his best look..ummm perhaps a teeny tiny bit slight semi spike sometimes, but this is the most flattering length. bytheway his tags and the music; great!!! as always.
Thank you Bluesman for your site! Thanks to Taylor for the music and for the education of some really great music over the past two years, and looking forward to more. Love this one heck I love all of his music it really gets me going on days you just need more than coffee!
Taylor lives to sing the blues! Too bad some don't understand the void Taylor fills with his music!! Every song is special, and he makes every song his own. Today's music can't compare with this!!
