Hi, South Skunk became
a non profit corporation in the State of Iowa on September 30, 1992.
We are going to be 20 years old in five days. This milestone is
remarkable in so many ways. We have kept the blues alive all this time.
When I was talking to Harvey Brindle from Honeyboy Turner Band last
week up at Cadillac Jacks he recalled playing for the South Skunk out at
the Terrace Inn years ago. He sent me copies of the poster we had for
their show and also a flyer that we had. Take a look, a blast from the
past. Incidentally they are still a great band with a great sound!
Gosh and we continue to have many opportunities to get out and listen to
some great music. Please come out and take advantage of this. And
support the venues that are bringing this to Skunkland. Honeyboy Turner
put on a great show last Saturday up at Cadillac Jacks and maybe
sometime we can get them to come back again. This is an updated listing
