Overclocked on the Radio  Sometimes we wind up the old handcrank victrola just a bit tighter so's it appears as though we get more music out in a timely manner. January 22nd on Hammered By The Blues  (every Sunday on KOWZ 1170AM at 10pm) we are right on time as Eli Cook comes breezin' by with a basketful off his new CD 'Ace, Jack, and King'. Keepin' track of the time with our trusty metronome, Paul Geremia takes it down beautifully with his best off 'Love My Stuff'. Keepin' it elegantly simple and acoustically instrumental, Mary Flower brings a few special friends to soothe your troubled mind with a little salvation off 'Misery Loves Company'. Knowin' you are at least a little skeptical that we can actually do all this in a timely manner (as boasted), we have The Lucy Hammond Band provide just what you need off 'Proof'. To insure a timely conclusion, we provide a solid kick to the tookuss with string fired licks from Jim Allchin off his tour de force 'Overclocked'. Time is simply relative, and I am pretty sure we used only our alloted!        We're on a mission and we don't waste time; We can turn from acoustic to electric on a dime;    Our definition of the blues is broad and very free;  Tune into Hammered By The Blues and you will see!
