May Flowers on the Radio  Needin' a little change? Summers bound to bloom soon. May 8th on Hammered By The Blues  (every Sunday on KOWZ 1170AM at 10pm) we shook off winters doldrums, and slipped and slid thru spring. Summers here, right? Well we gots some flowers to make ya think so anyway. We start off with a full bouquet of piano man Henry Gray as he revisits some of his best off re-release 'Lucky Man'. For the wind chime clarity only the mandolin can provide, we take a trip in the way back machine for some fluid pickin' by the master James 'Yank' Rachell and tracks off 'Blues Mandolin Man'. To enjoy the magnificence of our garden we call on Beautiful Bobby Blackmon as he takes us for a relaxing stroll off 'Yeah Baby, Chillin' With The Blues'. Once we get to that giant oak and feel the connection with nature, Bryce Janey provides that perfect zen moment with a handful off 'Down Home Blues'. Ahhh yes, when you're cool and the music's sweet, the sun shines all the time!      When things seem kinda dark and sorta scary; We move right along and don't want to tary;  Just come into the light and pick up these cues;  We're always here for ya at Hammered By The Blues!
