Bob Dorr And The Blue Band Update

So, I told you that there would not be a Blue Note this week because we play a private wedding, so this is NOT a Blue Note. It's a postcard. The Blue Band still maintains a direct mail list with ten times the number of people who are on this email list, so we still send out postcards. The postcard that will go out to selected zip codes says:
Hello Blue Person! As you can see below, we have a few dates coming up in your area that we're looking forward to seeing you on the dancefloor. But just as much as we want you to notice the dates we have lined up, please notice the dates we DON'T have lined up! We have MANY open weekends available for holiday parties and celebrations. Friday Oct. 1 starts another season of First Friday Geeezer Gigs at The Hub, 4th & Main in Sparkle City USA (Cedar Falls) We play 6-9:30 (maybe later if you want to keep going!) Pizza by the slice, adult beverages, great dancefloor and you'll be home for the 10 o'clock news! So what's not to like, right Avis? (ok, that was just for the email list, I'm just seein' if you're actually reading this or not) We'll play every first Friday of the month thru May 6 (except January, when we'll celebrate Bob's Birthday on Jan. 14) That means Oct. 1, Nov. 5, Dec. 3, Jan. 14, Feb. 4, Mar. 4, April 1 (no foolin') and May 6 at The Hub, Bub!
