Casey James: Use Me

Got this from the Taylor Hicks fan club.  A good video of Casey James doing an old Bill Withers tune.

  2. Thanks for this! Here's video from a famous blues club called The Mint in L.A. where Casey played 7/28. Drownin' on Dry Land is one of my fave covers...but,oh, his originals! Enjoy! http://thecaseyjamesblog.com/2011/07/28/casey-james-playing-at-the-mint/

  3. I was at that concert and Casey was AMAZING! Love it when he sings the blues! My favorite is also Drowning On Dry Land. Til My Guitar (Gets Tired Of Playing The Blues) is a great blues song that Casey wrote. Casey rocks out on Done Made Up My Mind!

  4. I don't think I'll ever appreciate blues until I heard this guy. He's a real deal of a musician so I'm wishing him all the success.

Casey plays from the soul and he makes me feel every note. He can play any genre of music with the same passion. But he is definitely a blues man.

  10. If you want to see Casey playing "Use Me", there are 2 excellent versions, far superior to this one.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9zE1i6BCH0 at Billy Bob's 7-1-11 and

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLZNH23PrR0 Kodiak Jack's 8-3-11

    It doesn't get any better.
