Road Trippin' on the Radio  We're takin' the blues bus on the road to shake off the dust before the festival season; hop in and get comfy. March 20th on Hammered By The Blues  (every Sunday on KOWZ 1170AM at 10pm) we start our journey rockin' the city of heavy steel. We hook up with Detroit's own, Howard Glazer & The EL34's as they get our motor runnin' with a few off their latest 'Wired For Sound'. Headin' south, we make a stop in Texas to catch Rich Del Grosso and Jonn Del Toro Richardson as they while away the hours at light speed with tracks from 'Time Slips On By'. We find ourselves takin' a detour down a dusty in the Yukon (imagine that; not bad fer an old bus!) as Gordie Tentrees spins a few gentle country tales off 'Mercy or Sin'. Somehow, magically, we end up back in the Motor City to indulge in a tasty brand happy ending with Sweet Claudette lettin' ya know how she feels with a couple off her latest 'That Man's Got To Go'. Put yer tray tables in an upright position and take what 'cha brung wit' ya as you exit the bus. We don't provide no transfers, so I hope we got 'cha where ya needs ta be!     Virtual road trips don't waste no gas; We don't burn rubber when we try to pass;  We can even tip a few as the mile posts fly;      When drivin' yer rocker you can't catch no DUI!
