A true master of the blues, Buddy Guy's guitar sound was born and popularized as soloist in bands with Muddy Waters, Junior Wells and Otis Rush. Later, his own disciples would include Eric Clapton, Keith Richards and most notably, Jimi Hendrix (as well as MILLIONS of others).
Travel with Buddy Guy to his beginnings in rural Louisiana, as he describes fashioning his first guitar out of screen wire and a lighter fluid can, and his first encounter with an electric guitar (in the hands of Lightning Slim playing "Boogie Chillun")... "and that just turned my head around."

"One Room Country Shack" is my favorite. I like for the feel it evokes blacks caught in an oppressive sharecropping economy and the playing of Otis Spann and Buddy Guy.
