Buddy Guy's "Skin Deep" Receives Traditional Blues Album Grammy® Nomination
Earlier this year, Buddy Guy released Skin Deep, featuring the title cut about racial equality. "Underneath, we're all the same" says Buddy in the chorus, and just a few months after its release, a young Chicagoan was elected as our first black President.

Following a bittersweet tour during which his older brother Phil died and at the end of the Experience Hendrix Tour, which saw the demise of Mitch Mitchell, this was welcome news. As Buddy said at the time, "I never dreamed that I would live long enough to see this day."
