Jus' Blues Music Awards

this is an interesting new awards show that I stumbled on to while reading Google news. The 7th annual Jus' Blues Music Awards will take place in Memphis Tennessee on August 16th later this summer. For the past 6 years the awards show has taken place in Atlanta. Its main purpose is to recognize African American artists who are overlooked by the more mainstream music awards shows, like, the Grammy Awards, The American Music Awards, and the MTV Music Awards.

Here is the listing of artists who have won an honaray award for this year. This list comes directly from the Jus Blues Music website.
