South Skunk Blues Soceity Update

Thanks to all that made the 20th Annual Bowlful a Blues a success! I have attached a listing of all the volunteers, businesses and others that have helped us out in so many ways.  I am guessing I may have left someone off and if so let me know if you have been left out. If we remember some people after I hit send I will include updates in future emails.  This is truly a volunteer organization and we have had great   support from the communities included in the land of the Skunk!

Matt Woods wins 2012 Iowa Blues Challenge Solo Duo and is headed for Memphis in January, 2013 for the International Blues Challenge (www.blues.org).  See the attached press release.

Upcoming shows at our local venues:
I wanted to update everyone on the upcoming shows that are scheduled by our great venues.  This is an updated list.  Time to be planning on coming out to see these artists play the Blues.  So please get out and see some of the great musicians playing in our immediate area.  Geeze, this is really something to have so much going on.  I am truly amazed at all of quality shows coming to the area. We have to support live Blues Music if we want to have it continue.  Some are coming up quickly so I wanted to get the word out.  Remember that if in doubt please check with the venue before driving a distance.  Schedules sometimes change and it is tough to keep up on these sometimes.  Well here is what I have for upcoming shows at this point:
