Moanin' on the Radio  Sometimes ya just gotta let that plaintive cry loose! October 9th on Hammered By The Blues  (every Sunday on KOWZ 1170AM at 10pm) we will wrestle with yer inner blues monkey as we toss a little magic on the old handcrank victrola. We kick that bad motorscooter over with Anthony 'Swamp Dog' Clark & The Blues Allstars as they serve it up proper off 'RAW'. Then Big Shot Rueb & The Reloaders take aim atcha with a few rounds off 'Roundhouse Blues'. Following in quick succession, Ivan Appelrouth takes ya down smooth and easy with tracks off his latest 'Blue and Instrumental'. To cap our time together today, Mike Zito takes ya home with a handful off 'Greyhound'. There ya have it, quick and to the point!       The time is right and the music is sweet; Just hang around a bit and feel the heat;    We'll fire up the turntable and play some of the best;  Put the speakers in the window and have a backyard fest!
