  Wax your seat and oil yer bearings, thrillseekers; we be racin' downhill. October 24th on
Hammered By The Blues  (every Sunday on KOWZ 1170AM at 10pm) we will be covetin' the checkered flag as we engage in the spirit of youthful competition. As we revel in the detailed process of pre-race inspection, we start with a fine tuned collaboration with a sea faring motif by Joe Louis Walker's Blues Conspiracy labeled 'Live On The Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise'. Next we come up on an elegant stretch limo box racer by Steve Gerard & The National Debonaires entitled 'Words Are Like Bullets'. We feel the aerodynamic breeze asJay Gaunt wheels out his visionary ride'Harmonicopia'. Oh, we have not forgotten the peach crate muscle cars; Walter Trout is a fan favorite poised to dominate with the powerful creation 'Common Ground'Hang on to yer hats, Racefans; GENTLEMEN: Lift your Keds from the asphalt and roll. May the wind be at your back and let your ride be smooth!
 Catchin' a cool breeze and rhythm of the road;
 Will ease your mind and lighten your load;
You know life is short and the road is long;
Let us fill your journey with a blues song!
