Sol has learned from and shared the stage and studio with musical heavyweights such as Taj Mahal, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Cool John Ferguson, John Dee Holeman, Guitar Gabriel, and others.
Sol has toured the world with Music Maker roots and blues artists and toured the southeast with his own groups. Sol also has worked steadily with NC music legends such as Cool John Ferguson, Skeeter Brandon, John Dee Holeman, Dynamite Brothers, Tim Smith, and many more.

Sol leads an all-star cast of musicians for the Funky Freedom Blues July 4th party!! The musicians will be Josh Preslar's usual band with special additions: Howling Wind (worked w/ many greats) on harmonica and vocals, Derek Arnold (Skeeter Brandon, Slick Ballinger) on bass, Clark Stern (Big Bill Morganfield, Sean Costello, Bob Margolin) on keys, Mike Rosado (Steve Kimoch, Scott Sawyer) on drums, & Sol on guitar and vocals.
